You are a new creation in Christ Jesus. What this means is that you’ve been born again into a new life in Him. You’ve accepted that you can’t save yourself and have now received His blood . His blood is His work. You’ve received His sacrifice. This surrendering your religious works based life and accepting His Finished work has made you righteous in Christ Jesus.
So when the Father looks at you all he sees is His Righteousness. He sees someone that is righteous pure and clean. You cannot lose this righteousness because it’s finished. That’s why Jesus is the rock of our salvation. We need to come to God and admit we can’t do it. We don’t have the power to become righteous in our adam identity. Our sinful nature cannot make us righteous. Righteousness has to be a gift for all men.
Once we accept this identity we will begin to operate righteously.
