I’ve had about enough of churches and their ways. I don’t think they’re for one minute interested in expanding the kingdom of heaven. I think they’re about expanding a system of control. To be fair..all churches are not going about it this way.
I am considering going about it this way.
” A.C.F. Communion Sunday The Last Sunday of every calendar quarter (March-June-Sept-Dec) in which all Communicants and Friends of the Communion of Ante-Nicene Christian Fellowships are asked to Pray specifically for the collective ministry of this Communion as well as take deliberate steps in facilitating that collective ministry in any number of ways to include; •Sharing the Gospel Message and faith perspective of the Communion with friends, neighbors,co-workers, fellow students etc. •Making a designated contribution for A.C.F. Outreach Ministries •Launch a Home Fellowship ministry •Undertake some Charitable or Volunteer effort on behalf of the Communion •Hand out A.C.F. Outreach materials in you community •Etc. Etc. It is our hope that A.C.F. Communion Sundays will become a unifying occasion through out the Communion. Won’t you join with your fellow disciples in Christ within the A.C.F. in taking this opportunity to act on behalf of the collective calling we all share in Christ? ”
These people don’t believe in buildings. They believe in people. Relationships.And the sharing of testimonies.
Ante-Nicene means before the council of Nicea where the bible was canonised. Before this the word ‘ Church ‘ was Eklesia. Meaning called out ones. Not one’s who subscribed to rates and taxes and the wasting of resources.
