Movie Review
Tonight I went to watch Risen
Risen is a 2016 American biblical drama film directed by Kevin Reynolds, and written by Reynolds and Paul Aiello. The film stars Joseph Fiennes, Tom Felton, Peter Firth, and Cliff Curtis, and is about a Roman soldier’s search for Jesus’ body following the Resurrection. Columbia Pictures released the film on February 19, 2016.
I was intrigued , even enjoyed it but I have to mention something here. There is a door that is wide open. Jesus leaves the scene in a flash of light and tells his disciples that He’s going to prepare a place for them . So that we’ll be left believing that when Jesus comes back that he’ll be coming with a city or something in order to acccomadate all the believers. This isn’t true. Jesus said those words before he went to the cross. When He died on the cross and rose again the work of preparing the place was already done. He said ‘ it is finished ! ‘ You are the place in which He now lives when you believe. This lie leaves the door wide open for an anti-christ to manifest himself saying I’ve prepared the place for you and if you’d just join us you’ll be in. Beware a little leaven spoils the whole lump !
Future
The future is very important to us. Us humans tend to create the future we think will manifest. So we end up turning the world into the place we imagined it would be. Question is , who has your imagination ? What are you convinced of ?
Do you think it will all end in disaster ? Or do you think it will all end in prosperity and life for all. We are fixated on news and events and we allow ourselves to be lied to and we will reap the rewards of all these lies if we continue down this path.
My challenge to you is, change your focus. See the future as a place where you’ll be a success even if it’s after you die. Yes , even after you die. Because to not believe in your eternal future is to live a hopeless life. Bring your future into the present .
Welcome to April
We are in trouble. Our world is controlled by oil. Now forget the blurb you hear. Think about what I am saying. We are in trouble. We are dependent on oil. If there is a glitch in this oil system . We are going to die of starvation. We need to find ways of living outside of this oil stream. The whole world is drunk on the wine of babylon. The wine of babylon is oil. Wake up people ! Get into Christ.
We are in grave danger. We need to seek out and make friends before it’s too late. There is a time coming where panic will beset us and if we haven’t made friends we’re going to suffer. All the ways you treat people now is going to matter. Sow into the Kingdom of Heaven for heaven sakes ! Don’t delay.
I ask that you consider truth. Consider what you hear , consider who you trust and why. Consider everything but most of all trust God ! The purpose of this site is to inspire you to trust God ! Work the works of God. Seek the Holy Spirit . Reconcile yourselves to God before it’s too late.
Fish don’t just land up dead on beaches , the world doesn’t get hotter unless there is a way to make the world hotter. Forget the blurb. There is an evil force attacking us and they want us dead !
