Whining Competition

Gosh my brain is so sore from this competition stuff. I entered allot of photos in many contests and my head got sore from all the voting. I am beginning to wonder about this contest stuff. If I don’t vote they don’t expose my stuff. And if you want your stuff exposed you have to pay. There has to be money making somewhere.

I entered a photo that I thought looked black and white. Some people complained . So I just black and whited it. People can be so petty.

I decided to entered a phogography contest in gurushots again. Brilliant.. I got to all star again for the challenge of flying. I’ve entered these photos before except for the helicopter one. Nice to be acknowledged again.

The Bridge Church Celebration

I posted this on bridge-pretoria.nikipress.org but I’ll post it here again. It’s been such a mission to get this network off the ground. Sometimes I think I am crazy because I slog away at it almost like someone who’s possessed. Perhaps subconsciously I have a need to succeed that I should deal with but none the less sometimes I enjoy looking at the spaghetti I’ve created. I just wonder how relevant is it in the world today ? Does anyone even care because everyone can do this. I mean everyone has a facebook account or a youtube account . People are buying micophones left right and center and everyone wants to be heard. People are addicted to popularity. They want their five seconds of fame I suppose.

Anyway.. I’ve always believed I’d make a good DJ. So as one who enjoys passing on the vibe enjoy this video.

It costs 1800 rand. I want to show that it doesn’t matter what equipment you have you can still be part of this network. Cost is minimal.

Friends with Robbie Wessels

Today I found out I have known Robbie Wessels for over three years. I asked him his name in church numerous times and always greeted him. I didn’t know who he was. So today we went to the 7th anniversary of our church and my mother told me that he is famous. I said ” Oh ? That’s just Robbie ” . I told him what I had said about him and he laughed . He said ” That’s the way it should be ” … Well at any rate.. At least I have a famous Friend. Meaning of Robbie ? ” English Meaning: The name Robbie is an English baby name. In English the meaning of the name Robbie is: Abbreviation of Robert ‘Famed; bright; shining. ”

 

Visiting a friend

Today while running around doing errands I decided to go see a friend of mine . He had this pigeon since birth and raised it. The sweetest thing. He sits on his head and shoulder and refuses to leave. Benito is an artist who enjoys working with quill pens. He knows how to do various kinds of arts. He is currently working on his portraiture technique. He aims to do a portrait in under 15 minutes before he will be viable economically. I think he’s ok just the way he is but his standard is very high and he demands allot from his work.

Anyway.. it’s pointless running a blog and having nothing to report everyday. I so long to get this vibe going. Bless you for reading.
